This website now has dark mode!
Dark mode is good. Dark mode is great. We all love the darkness!
Seriously though, as a part of the usual website upkeep, I decided to update the theme with the help of a little API available within browsers now called ‘prefers-color-scheme: dark’. Using this CSS media tag, I’ve updated every instance to a more, let’s say developer friendly colour!
What’s great about this method is that it will automatically turn dark when the user selects dark mode within their Operating System, so if you have dark mode on on macOS, iOS or Windows, this page should look dark!
The next stage of my development work for this website is to move from having a PDF CV to having a native CV within the site experience itself. Wish me luck!
